Popular campsites and backcountry spots sell out months ahead, but cancellations reappear every day, for a few minutes, then vanish. CampFromTheCouch watches the official reservation systems around the clock and pings you the moment a spot you want opens up. You book it on the official site like normal. It's the friend who happened to be refreshing the page at the right moment.

How it works, briefly

Tell us a park and your dates (or search by location, or follow a park for its season go-live). We check the booking systems politely and, when a match opens, send you a Discord or web-push alert. We never book on your behalf, hold sites, or touch your park account. See How it works for the full tour.

What we believe

No pay-to-win. Everyone watching the same opening gets pinged at the same moment. Supporting only speeds up your own scan cadence. It doesn't buy you a head start over anyone else. It's a thank-you, not a fast lane.
A good neighbour. We poll the reservation systems gently: shared checks, random jitter, per-site caps, and automatic backoff when a site is struggling. Being polite to the parks' infrastructure is a rule, not an afterthought, which is why we grow slowly, by invite.
Free, and staying that way. The free tier is already faster than most paid alert services. Donations cover the time, not a paywall.
Your data stays yours. Location is used only for the one search and never stored; we don't sell anything or run ad trackers.
